artSAVOR Basil Pesto

This light, fresh salad is bright with crunchy and creamy goodnBetter than any store bought pesto, with a flavor-packed punch with only a few ingredients and a food processor. Fresh, homemade basil pesto can be used as an easy marinade for grilled and roast meats or stirred through a big bowl of pasta or zucchini noodles for a quick dinner solution! Just a spoonful of pesto can be used as a complimentary garnish to give many savory dishes a nice, fresh kick! artSAVOR 75 just adds deeper flavor to an already amazing sauce.

artSAVOR 75 Ingredients

Dill, Parsley, Leek, Basil, Salt, Pepper, Herbs & Spices

Sauce, Condiment, Marinade, Pasta
Yield roughly 2 cups

INGREDIENTS

2C Basil, fresh
1T artSAVOR 75, already mixed in oil (See Directions Below)
1T Shallots, Roughly chopped
1C Roasted Almonds
3T Lemon juice, Freshly Squeezed
D Sea Salt and Pepper, Freshly ground
1C Olive Oil
D Champagne Vinegar

DIRECTIONS

Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor
Pulse to blend to a rough consistency
Add oil in a nice, thin stream until emulsified
Add a splash of vinegar and give a final pulse

STORAGE

Pesto can be stored in an air tight jar and refrigerated for one week. Alternatively, freeze in a small plastic container for up to 3 months.

artSAVOR MIXTURE

For even flavor in every bite, combine one entire package of artSAVOR with ¼C Olive oil.
Store unused mixture preferably in an airtight glass container in the refrigerator for future use.
artSAVOR blends mixed in oil will keep refrigerated for up to 90 days.
