artSAVOR Basil Pesto

artSAVOR 75 Ingredients
Dill, Parsley, Leek, Basil, Salt, Pepper, Herbs & Spices
Sauce, Condiment, Marinade, Pasta
Yield roughly 2 cups
INGREDIENTS
2C Basil, fresh
1T artSAVOR 75, already mixed in oil (See Directions Below)
1T Shallots, Roughly chopped
1C Roasted Almonds
3T Lemon juice, Freshly Squeezed
D Sea Salt and Pepper, Freshly ground
1C Olive Oil
D Champagne Vinegar
DIRECTIONS
Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor
Pulse to blend to a rough consistency
Add oil in a nice, thin stream until emulsified
Add a splash of vinegar and give a final pulse
STORAGE
Pesto can be stored in an air tight jar and refrigerated for one week. Alternatively, freeze in a small plastic container for up to 3 months.
artSAVOR MIXTURE
For even flavor in every bite, combine one entire package of artSAVOR with ¼C Olive oil.
Store unused mixture preferably in an airtight glass container in the refrigerator for future use.
