artSAVOR Healthy Chili

Part of the excitement of creating food is having ingredients readily available so when the creative urge presents itself, so there's no loss in momentum. You can easily lose your enthusiasm if you have to search and shop for ingredients every time you are inspired to create. I accomplish this by having artSAVOR mixtures as well as pre-seasoned proteins both raw or cooked in the refrigerator awaiting to be transformed into deliciousness. Here is what I created with some uncooked ground beef artSAVOR 20 mixture in the refrigerator.

artSAVOR Ingredients

Black Pepper, Curry, Turmeric, Parsley, Sea Salt, Baking Soda, Herbs & Spices

Serves 6–8
2 Pounds of ground meat

RECIPE INGREDIENTS

¼C Onion, Finely Chopped
2T Olive Oil
1C Carrots, Diced
2lb chilled ground meat pre-seasoned with artSAVOR 20
1C Tomato Sauce, More if Needed
1C Zucchini, Diced
1C Red Kidney Beans, Canned
¼C White Beans, Canned
¼C Corn
D Sea Salt and Pepper Freshly Ground
Mint Leaves, For Garnish, Optional

KITCHEN ESSENTIALS

Medium Size 3” Deep Pan

COOK

Heat oil in pan over medium high heat
Add onion and sauté until translucent
Add carrot and cook for 2 minutes
Add beef mixture and cook for 3 minutes
Add tomato sauce and let it come to boil
Add zucchini, red and white beans, stir and cook for few minutes
Add corn and dash of salt and pepper to taste
Let it cook until done, 5 minutes
Garnish with mint
Serve immediately with your choice of sides, relish and condiments
