Turkey "taquito" Cigars

RECIPE INGREDIENTS
Taquitos
1pk artSAVOR 20
3lb Ground Turkey
1½C Onion, Blended to paste
6C Canola Oil, for frying
32 Red Corn Tortillas, about 5"
3C HomeiraStyle Herbed Yogurt Sauce¹
3C Frisée Leaves, Separated
3C Tomato Salsa or Pico de Gallo
1C Edible Flowers
Yogurt Sauce
2C Strained Plain Yogurt
2T artSAVOR 75 (already mixed in oil)
3T Lemon juice, fresh squeezed
Sea Salt & Freshly Ground Black Pepper
KITCHEN ESSENTIALS
Deep Pan for frying
PREP
In a large mixing bowl combine turkey, artSAVOR 20 and onion paste
Mix thoroughly until meat is evenly seasoned
Cover and refrigerate for until ready to use, preferably for 4 hours
COOK
Taquitos
Remove turkey mixture from refrigerator
Divide it in 32 equal portions
Coat your fingers with oil to keep meat from sticking to your fingers
Form a cigar-like cylinder of turkey and place it in the middle of tortilla
Roll tortilla around turkey with closed edges facing down, repeat the same for rest
Heat oil in frying pan over high heat to 300˚F
Place each taquitos in oil edges facing down
Fry for 5 minutes, turn to other side and fry for 4 minutes or until cooked
Serve with yogurt sauce, frisée, dip and edible flowers
Yogurt Sauce
Combine yogurt, artSAVOR 75, lemon juice, salt & pepper to taste
artSAVOR MIXTURE
For even flavor in every bite, combine one entire package of artSAVOR 75 with ¼C Olive oil.
Store unused mixture preferably in an airtight glass container in the refrigerator for future use.
