artSAVOR 75 is a requisite ingredient for my tangy, smoky and versatile champagne vinaigrette. It is one of my refrigerator Basics that I always have on hand with nearly endless uses. It is great for a wide variety of creations from salads, steamed vegetables, pizzas, crudos, sandwiches, tacos, seafood, to crudités and so much more. As there are no ingredients that spoil or go off easily, and any ingredient with an expiration or “use by date” is for from expiry, this will last refrigerated for weeks. But, trust me, it will not last as you will be using it on everything! Make a double batch! Explore other flavored oils or flavored vinegars to make it your own. Get creative!
Read Moreit is interesting how my life rules of “Following No Rules” carry over to my kitchen. My primary rule it to always use the highest quality and freshest ingredients. I truly never do what I am about to tell you to do with this recipe! However, in this case the results were rewarding and over the top.
I know that for certain recipes, like Bread Pudding and French Toast, stale bread is required and that is how I prepare those recipes. But the sourdough I used to make this Molten Cheese was almost a week old forgotten in the refrigerator. A drizzle of artSAVOR flavored olive oil and the melted cheese, brought the sourdough to life! Crispy, flaky, cheesy deliciousness! It will disappear faster than the blink of an eye!
Read MoreartSAVOR 75 is a requisite ingredient for this version of my creamy, tangy, smoky and versatile yogurt sauce. It is one of my BASICS, a refrigerator essential condiment with many uses. It is great for sandwiches, tacos, kabobs, steaks, seafood, poultry and crudités. As it does not include more perishable produce, it can be made in a larger quantity. It should last as long as the “Use by Date” of your dairy products, so make sure you use the freshest. The measurements are guidelines. If you want it thicker, use more sour cream or yogurt – thinner a bit more buttermilk. I tend to make it from what I have on hand. If I only have prepared horseradish, that’s what I use instead of creamy horseradish sauce. Make it your own! Get creative!

Read MoreFor years we ordered Nachos at restaurants and got disappointed that there was not much on it, particularly cheese. Or some would melt the cheese and pour it on the chips, which was totally unacceptable. Then came my memory of having great Nachos at one of the restaurants in Aria Hotel in Vegas, which subsequently closed and left us with great sadness. Every bite of Nachos should have chip, cheese and everything else that is on it. It should be a total satisfaction and experience loaded with layers of flavor. After so many disappointments, I decided to make my own, which also makes it a great substitute for Pizza when I have guests who are gluten intolerant. It is one of my name dishes and loved by whoever who has had them. Get creative with me and create your own!
